Delivering Prosperity in Africa: Produce. Add Value. Trade.
AAI started 2024 by focusing on building African and diasporic prosperity. AAI’s President, Kofi Appenteng, and Board Chair, Christal Jackson, brought AAI’s mission to the African Prosperity Dialogues in Ghana in late January. Christal shared the stage with H.E. Baroness Scotland of Asthal, KC – Secretary General, Commonwealth; Prof. Benedict Okey Oramah - President, Afreximbank; and Rosa Whitaker – President and CEO, Whitaker Group. Kofi presented the African Prosperity Network Joint Compact. The compact committed business leaders, elected officials, and social impact leaders to advancing the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement with the goal of empowering African nations in their pursuit of prosperity.
